Greek Turkey Burgers

After eating these burgers - we decided they are a MUST add-on to our regular menu items!

Made with all fresh ingredients - fusing turkey burgers with beautiful greek flavors makes for the perfect summer dinner and leftovers you'll crave!

We made these burgers along with a greek slaw and a homemade tzatziki sauce!

Here's the recipes for all!

Burger ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Ground Turkey

  • 2 scallions - chop

  • 2 garlic cloves - minced

  • 1 zucchini or yellow squash - grated or finely chopped

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • pepper and salt to taste

Relish ingredients:

  • 2 tbs mint - chopped

  • 1 tbs olive oil

  • 1/4 red onion - chopped

  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes - chopped

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

Tzatziki Sauce ingredients:

  • 2 cups greek plain yogurt

  • 1/2 English cucumber - chopped

  • 1 tbs fresh lemon juice

  • 2 tbs fresh dill - chopped

  • 1/2 tbs of garlic powder

  • pepper to taste


  • Combine all burger ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine thoroughly.

  • Shape burgers into 1/4 inch patties (or whatever size you like) and proceed to grill to your liking! We usually grill them for anywhere from 10-15 minutes depending on size.

  • While burgers are grilling - mix together the ingredients for the relish and let sit so the flavors can combine. Then mix together ingredients for the sauce! Make sure you taste both to make sure they are up to your standards :)

  • Once the burgers are cooked, assemble the masterpiece! Sometimes we opt for no bun - but if we do eat buns they are usually whole wheat.

  • Pair with the side of your choice and enjoy!
